Profile

My name is Marc Sau Batlle, a Software Developer from Spain with more than 6 years of experience in the videogame industry in both Unity and C#. I have worked both solo and in medium sized teams, have experience managing and constructing growing systems with strict performance requirements while sticking to deadlines and I'm used to dealing with platform specific issues.

I'm a very outspoken person with a pro-active mindset who is not shy to ask questions till I get the full picture of what I'm working with, from debating with designers to helping out artists by making them tools to speed up their workflow, I am used to working in teams with varied opinions and points of view while maintaining good communication with all sides.

Overall I'm a friendly person that likes to discuss things and is eager to dip its toes into new territories.

Objectives

Being part of a well oiled team with fluid communication where I can learn new things and grow my skills into a senior position. I would also like to learn more management skills in order to migrate later on towards more of a management/lead position.

Interests

Reading and video games are my 2 passions! Video games especially are the reason I started learning to code when I was around 12 as I wanted to make my own projects with whatever wild ideas I had.
Aside from that I enjoy nature and learning new and interesting things like that elephants can purr like cats.
